Controversial Sexuality Class at Northwestern Cancelled

Remember J. Michael Bailey?  He's the Northwestern professor that was widely criticized for hosting a demonstration of a woman committing sexual acts for his Human Sexuality class in February, 2011.

Students, administrators and community members were outraged.  Dr. Bailey's response?  "Sticks and stones may break your bones, but watching naked people on stage doing pleasurable things will never hurt you."

Now, Bailey's Human Sexuality course has been cancelled.

According to Psychology Department Chair Dan McAdams, the decision was made by either the President or Provost at NU.  McAdams then referred to the situation as, "a pretty extraodinary case."
